Before I developed Drunk Elephant, I was a frustrated brand-hopper looking for anything that would help my irritated, inflamed, confused skin. I identified 6 ingredients—essential oils, silicones, drying alcohols, chemical sunscreens, fragrances/dyes, and SLS—that I believed were behind my skin issues.
